For about 4 months, a delegation of young people is escorted by elders through this portion of land. Throughout the ceremony, the warriors must entertain the prophet with song and dance. Dance has the potential to become competitive. The men form a circle and start jumping one by one, never letting their heels touch the ground. The higher he jumps, the more he attracts young girls who watch. Meanwhile, the people in the outer circle sing in pitches that match the height of the jump. The boys spend the night in the forest until the eve of the final ceremony, known as Eunoto.
